Jarvis Shockey is the principal e-Services consultant for EDI Support Services, LLC.  Jarvis’ extensive experience in Healthcare EDI provides the background for working with Payers and Providers, helping them develop and execute the most effective connectivity strategy for their organizations.  The range of connectivity strategies implemented include electronic payments and remittance advice, all X12 transactions and electronic fulfillment of member-related documents.  Prior to EDI Support Services, Jarvis was the Healthcare Banking Market Manager for Fiserv (formerly known as Personix).  At Fiserv he was responsible for developing an electronic payment network to connect Payers and Providers as well as providing e-Presentment solutions that enabled Members and Providers to opt out of print. With over 20 years of Healthcare EDI and Web Solutions experience, Jarvis’ background includes work in consulting, business development, sales, strategic relations, management and operations. He has held several senior-level positions in the following organizations: Healthx, Bank of America, TriZetto, VHx, VeriFone and Physician’s Practice Management..

 
 
 

 

April Rimpley has been in the dental industry for twelve years. Her educational background includes a Bachelor's Degree from Wayne State College in Psychology with a Business Minor, a Master's Degree from Doane College in Management with a Leadership emphasis and her Fellow, Life Management Institute (FLMI) designation from the Life Office Management Association (LOMA). She is pursuing her LIMRA Leadership Institute Fellow (LLIF) designation with LIMRA.  During her career, she has focused on service for providers, members and plan holders. She is currently the Vice President of Customer Connections and Operations at Ameritas Life Insurance, Corp in Lincoln, NE. Over the last six years, April has been involved in Dental EDI and how to assist providers and members in understanding how EDI can benefit the delivery of care and decrease delays in claim payments.
